Our university can trace its roots back to the first-ever college in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region in 1960 under the founding philosophy of “Illuminating the future with true education.”As a leading university in higher vocational education for the past 62 years, TSU has been developing professionally and technically outstanding individuals who can contribute to the development of the country as well as local communities. In order to preemptively respond to the rapidly changing and uncertain environment surrounding the university, such as the recent changes in demographics, the 4th industrial revolution, and the COVID-19 pandemic, TSU is hoping to create future value for the university with bold innovations inspired by the idea of “true education based on human-centered thinking.” Based on our determination that the right direction for higher vocational education in the future society is to innovate the education system and develop educational contents, our university is promoting customized education for students with an “edutech system” focusing on field experience and practical skills.
