Department of Finance and Real Estate (2 years)
- Develops experts equipped with practical skills demanded by employers in the financial (financial sales, securities business, etc.) and real estate (brokerage, development, auction, consulting, etc.) service fields.
- Helps students build a stable career and future with training programs tailored to fit today’s job market driven by meritocracy as well as industry-academy-government cooperation networks. Also offers opportunities for employment and start-ups for talented individuals.

- - TSU established the first-ever finance and real estate-related academic department in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region in 1985 (evening classes created in 1999).

- - Of the 2,500 graduates, more than 400 are managing real estate agencies and more than 800 alumni are working in the real estate industry.

Offers special employment-guaranteed courses for different service sectors required in society: Specialized group for adolescents vulnerable to crisis situations
- - A “employment-guaranteed contracted academic department” established cased on an agreement between TSU and local youth institutions. At the request of youth institutions, this special academic program trains personnel using courses tailored to the needs of the commissioning youth institutions. The youth institutions employ these students upon their graduation.

- Develops male and female police officers and bodyguards capable of protecting people’s lives and property and maintaining social order and safety with professional theoretical and practical education.
- As the first two-year police major in the Daegu region, the program produces a large number of police officers every year.

Department of Defense Technology and Administration (2 years)
- Offers courses on administrative subjects such as practical administration, office management, accounting/tax practice, CS leadership/management, and personnel administration to help train junior officers (commissioned and non-commissioned officers) who work in the national defense industry. Students can earn various technical certifications/qualifications, such as the land radio operator license, excavator/forklift license, lifeguard license, office automation industry engineer license, information processing industry engineer license, nursing assistant license, Taekwondo and martial arts certificate, etc. Upon graduation, students can become cadets at the Army Academy 3, military officers specializing professional special forces and military officers at specialized military divisions, public officials or civilian employees of the armed forces, etc. The ultimate objective of this department is to produce experts who can be deployed immediately in the field and perform their duties successfully. In particular, military scholarship students can enjoy the benefit of receiving full tuition support (additional funding for military service support) separately from a national scholarship scheme, and are eligible for a Presidential (TSU President) recommendation as a Marine Corps military scholarship student.
