The Department of Musical Acting at the College of Broadcasting and Arts boasts 38 years of tradition and history. It works with the Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) to develop future stars who will lead the musical scene in Korea.
- - Trains talented individuals in the performing arts field, such as musical actors, directors, talents, vocal trainers, choreographers, and performance staff (lighting and sound engineers).
- - Offers intensive practical training through one-on-one individual vocal training classes.
- - Develops musical actors using various dance training, including ballet, modern dance, and jazz dance. Also offers systematic acting education and training programs to students.
- - Features specialized performing arts practice rooms, dance rooms, and a 270-seat performance hall.
- - Develops creative leaders by strengthening their practical skills with on-the-job training using the best educational facilities.

Department of Beauty Design (2 years)
- The Department of Beauty Design provides convergence education in collaboration with other fields, and customized intensive education according to aptitude of each student by reflecting changes in the external environment, such as future job prospects, technological developments, and the demands of the beauty industry, which typically requires a complex range of skills.

In the first semester of their first year, students hone basic competencies in all subjects related to beauty through an integrated program. Then, from the second semester of the first year, students are divided into makeup and skin nail majors to learn on-the-job skills and how to apply their skills in the field. By doing so, the department develops multi-talented beauty experts with creative thinking skills who can lead the future beauty industry.
- - Offers convergence and integrated education with collaborative projects with other majors.
- - Students can acquire a cosmetologist (general) license required when opening a business in the beauty industry upon graduation.
- - Offers non-regular training courses to help students earn two qualifications/certifications required in prospective workplaces.

- The first department in the country specializing in jem. Boasts 32 years of history and tradition in the field.
- Cooperates with government organizations in charge of the Special Fashion and Jewelry District in Jung-gu, Daegu.
- Offers training on jem design, precious metal processing, and jem appraisal to produce experts in jem marketing with support from local communities.
- The only academic department in Korea to offer training on jem appraisal. Thus, the department Offers a strong competitive advantage over other similar departments.

Department of Leisure Sports (2 years)
- Offers state-of-the-art sports equipment and modern sports facilities to help students learn the skills to improve and manage the quality of services in the leisure sports industry.
- Offers comprehensive programs that incorporate practical training in sports science and practical field sessions.
- Produces leisure industry experts equipped with outstanding practical skills in leisure activities and events.
- Provides specialized education focusing on “future leisure sports” (e.g. extreme sports, oceanic sports, and air sports).
